Our Mission Statement
Here at The Amon Foundation Inc, we are a non-profit organization with a focus on improving the lives of children. We have a passion for helping underprivileged kids by providing resources to help them achieve great success in life, at no cost to them. We will offer free life skill lessons and free soccer training while supporting them in their academic pursuits. We will partner with like-minded individuals, organizations and groups to make this a reality.
Our plan in serving these kids through our life skill program, is to teach and plant the seeds of greatness on a continuous basis. This will result in a strong character, which we believe is necessary for great success. With this strong pillar of success in place, they will be equipped to be victorious over life's challenges. They will also be in a good position to impact their families and communities as positive role models.
We are using the sport of soccer as a platform to help our kids have a great future. Through our Johnny Soccer Prep program, they will be taught the fundamentals of playing soccer in a fun and challenging environment. This will give them a solid foundation to build upon as they pursue their soccer ambitions.
We also plan to support our community in endeavors that are in alignment with our values, with one of these being a free annual soccer camp provided to the undeserved kids.
Testimonials.
Cherniqua Bryant: Hi, my name is Cherniqua Bryant and I am the mother of Jonah Bryant, who plays on The Amon Foundation Soccer team. My son loves to come to practice and he loves soccer. He tells me every Tuesday that he is ready to go. So, I am very happy for him and that he is able to interact with other kids and learn some character (building) skills as well as physical (soccer) skills.
Sharonda Moore: I am very glad for The Amon Foundation exposing the kids to something that they will not otherwise be exposed to. And taking the time to keep them active and also give them great character-building exercises as well. So, I am excited to see what the years brings
Lakeshia Haynes: Hello, my name is Lakeshia Haynes, and I am the mother of Caleb Haynes. Caleb is a part of the Amon Foundation. He plays soccer with the Foundation, and he loves it, and I love it also. He learn so much before going out on the field about life skills. Basic life skills that are very important for the children to know. Shortly after, they head out to the field and play their little hearts out. The love that the coaches gives, the time, the patience that they have, are amazing. I cannot ask for anything better. I cannot wait as the months goes by, to see how much my child progresses. It's very, very heart felt, when someone else can teach your child what they know from a different perspective. And the child is always engaged and just loves it. I love to see how they interact out on the field. The amount of patience that they have, "amazing". This is an environment where coaching is very important however the approach that is taken, "oh my goodness" is amazing. At The Amon Foundation, I just cannot ask for anything better. I am very thankful that we were able to find this group of people to take my child in as their own.
